Seventh night: Was the prophet illiterate?

In the seventh night of Ramadan, Shaikh Jaffer Sitri put the verse (Ayah) “there are those who follow the messenger, the illiterate prophet (not conventionally educated), whose description they find written in the Torah and Gospel “and then he said that the Quran names and attributes of multi-point to Holy self-Mohammedi showing various aspects of beauty and Mohammadi perfection, charmingly, refers to the names and other by characteristics, in the place of the names , he calls Yassin,Taha, Abdulla, Ahmed, and Mohammed, and in place of characteristics called the conclusion of the prophets or the preacher,Bashir. And the more of these names and the characteristics of personal qualities emerged.

It is clear these names and attributes as attributes of perfection except character presented in the above verse (illiterate).

In this capacity, the commentators were differ in the concept and refers to divided four views that mentioned by the Shaikh, the first says that the capacity mounted to the mother, meaning that he remained without learning something after he left his mother’s womb, but it denied the truth of his matter because the science that takes the prophet PBUH is Allah not gained, as is the case with the public, while the second opinion like the first but more than, it didn’t acquire knowledge a human teacher.

The third opinion refers to the illiterate the nation, that is, the back of the nation, and the last character of the mother attributed to the villages of Mecca.

This is the first approach, that was stated by Shaikh, the second approach was a question, did the prophet really don’t know how to read and write? Shaikh Jaffer browses the opinions of Sunni in their says that the prophet didn’t know how to read and write until his death, deveral advocates of evidence-Shaikh summed up in six evidence as follows:

1-The story “Iam not a reader” but our religious scientists have denied this matter altogether condemned them to interpret the “what” negatively and not others.

2-The historical books didn’t report that demonstrates that the prophet reads or writes.

3-If the Prophet reads or writes they would have accused him of writing the Quran.

4-Quran said so “you were not able to read or write before the Quran was revealed to you; otherwise, the followers of falsehood would have tried to confuse the matter”.

5-Reading and writing is a canal for knowledge and not limited therein, and the Prophet was not needed as he has a revelation, but this guide is also unacceptable because it is a deficiency.

6-The second Caliph, say “The prophet to abandon” because the Prophet PBUH bring shoulder and inkwell you write a book, Omar thought that the Prophet guide because he doesn’t know how to read and write and wants inkwell and shoulder, but he forgot the example causal metaphor perhaps the Prophet meant that in order he wants someone to write not meant that he himself would write.

It is worth mentioning that Shaikh promised to complete this matter and respond to the evidence that missed this tonight.
